Python/Django Ninja

We're a small technology firm on the UES that's kicking butt and taking names. We're looking for a broadly ambitious person who wants to be able to look back at our company in 5 years and say they helped build something great. In March, we're scheduled to start our biggest project yet and we need an experienced developer that we can build our team around. We want someone that is good at solving difficult technical problems without much guidance and, in particular, is well-versed in Python and Django. We'll also need to interface with multiple hardware devices so some knowledge of C/C++ may be necessary. This is going to be an exciting project and we get to design and code it from the ground up. What we'd need from you:

• For you to be awesome - an awesome coder, an awesome person and, hopefully, an awesome chef. What, we get hungry.
• For you to be interested in helping us to build not just our software, but also our business.
• About 20 hours per week for starters and to be available for the next 5-8 months at the very least though our hope is for our relationship to eventually lead to full-time employment.
• For you to work at our office on the UES. Depending on how things go, we can consider telecommuting for some of those hours later on.
• For you to put the words "I am YOUR CODER." in the subject of your reply e-mail and attach your resume and any information that you think might be useful.
